The Chip Spreader is constructed from a pressed steel with square and rectangular section. It is a truck mounted Chip Spreader driven from pneumatic tyred wheel which transmits the drive from the road surface to a dog clutch mounted on a lay shaft. The drive is transmitted to the feed roller through chain and sprocket mechanism. Chip Spreader is suitable for fitting to all standard tipper trucks and has 2.5 m maximum spreading width.
